The objective of this course written by the authors of the book "If I love my kid enough"and the adoptive parents themselves is to prepare parents for the difficult and rewarding job of understanding how their parenting will be both alike and different from that of those who have given birth to their children, and how to best help their children manage these developmental differences in healthy ways. This course is appropriate for preparation to the adoption of a child of 3 years and younger. The course qualifies for 6 contact hours of training. A certificate of completion will be available for print out after the exit test is completed with at least 80% grade.
